Who am I ?

I am Kumar Yashoratna, a final year student at KIET, Ghaziabad pursuing engineering in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE).
I have an interest in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Financial Engineering & Data Science. I have experience in the field of Econometrics and Optimization using Computer Aided Tools. I have build projects using Web Development tools and techniques including HTML, CSS, PHP, BootStrap, etc. and projects based on Machine Learning using OpenCV, NLP, etc. I work over C Language, C++, Java, Python, etc.
I love to discuss over politics, upcoming financial scenario of the country, development and research scope in various fields of science and technology. I have a keen interest in Defense Research and its development. I respect different cultures and enjoy getting along with them. I believe in teamwork and group development.

  • SDE Intern @ NITI

    Description:
    My role in this internship was as a SDE intern (Software Development Engineer). This internship was offered to me to develop my project idea which was submitted in NITI AAYOG Summer Hackathon '18. Moto and problem statement behind my project was: "Innovate to improve the condition of rural areas of India without introducing the new infrastructure."
    This internship helped me to learn various new development & operational (DevOps) tools and forge new skills. I worked in a team of 6 members to redesign the whole pre-existing PMO application.

    Description
    My role in this internship was to develop and train a model for credit risk prediction based on demographic and financial parameters. This training helped me a lot in learning the banking system by taking a deep dive into the banking sector and also let me explore more parameters that can be charted with the customer's habit map. Along with the help of my mentor, I was able to generate a more robust prediction system as compared to the current one which is used by banks right now.

  • Autonomous Anomaly Detection By Drone (Software)

    Presented At: Smart India Hackathon 2019 (SIH'19)

    Description:
    This project was developed during the 72 hours of SIH'19. This project targeted the solution to the problem faced during a fleet of drones like bird attack, bees swarm, thunder strike, loss in connection with the pilot, etc. Problem statement (GS1) was given to us by CITD, Hyderabad. Our idea was submitted in November 2018.
    We secured 1st Position in our problem statement in whole nation.

    Description:
    Project was presented in NITI AAYOG 2018 Summer Project Edition. The problem statement given was: "Innovate to improve the condition of rural areas of India without introducing the new infrastructure." The project proposed the complete redesign of the already developed PMO Application by GovOfIndia. The government introduced a few of the suggested changes in the May'19 update of the application.

This project focused on the fact that how the resources should be utilized after the disaster has struck the region. It is a portal-based web application that can be accessed by those who need help or those who want to help. This project was also showcased in Innotech'18(Technical fest of KIET) @KIET, Ghaziabad.

    This project was developed during 72 hours of Technoxian Hackathon'19. This project was listed in TOP 5 out of 200 participants. SAARTHI project aimed to solve the problems of young entrepreneur. With the help of this RPA based application, they could easily collect information and data from market for their product.
